10 Monthly Bible Journaling Devotional Kits

Bible Journaling has been a passion of mine for some time now. I was looking for a way to reignite my Bible Study and kept coming across these beautiful photos on Instagram. At first, I just looked at the photos, loving them and feeling inspired, but thinking I wasn’t creative enough to do any journaling myself. Little did I know what a journey God would take me on!

Bible Journaling has transformed my study of God’s Word. It takes my studying to another level- for me, it has been a way for Scripture to sit with me for an extended and to really mediate on it. I know that some people don’t like to journal directly in their Bible and others think the Bible Journaling community has it all wrong. To be honest, I can understand that school of thought. However, like most things, it is the way we use it and our intention and heart behind it. Scripture taken out of context and used just as a way of creating a pretty Instagram photo is wrong. But Bible Journaling has been an amazing way for me to reignite my passion for God’s Word and I am so grateful to the community.

DaySpring has monthly kits that are just gorgeous, which shouldn’t surprise you if you are familiar with DaySpring. DaySpring and Illustrated Faith used to work together to create monthly devotional kits, but they now each produce their own – which is so exciting!

The first few months this year, we worked through the Women of the Bible, which was a 3 month series. Each kit does stand alone, but it was wonderful to be able to makeconnections and interchange the content of the kits for a couple months. I have been highly impressed at the devotional content of the DaySpring kits, so if you want a meatier devotional, check out these monthly kits.

Below you can see the newest DaySpring Kit, which releases at the end of April! Check out those gorgeous florals!

I have used and loved the Illustrated Faith Kits for awhile now. Like I already said, Illustrated Faith used to partner with DaySpring, but Shanna Noel has recently started her own company, which is so exciting! Shanna has a very unique style, and I love being able to get a different You do not need to commit to getting a kit each month: you just go to the website and order one if you want to. Each month features a different theme and content. You can see unboxing videos of my kits on my YouTube channel if you want to take a peek, and plenty of posts on the blog as well.

I can not tell you how much I love these kits! They are packed full of so much goodness and truth! While these monthly kits are a bit more expensive than others, it is with good reason. Each kit not only comes with a devotional and Bible Journaling supplies, but a book or CD or jewelry is also included! If you are looking to purchase one Bible Journaling kit and not necessarily commit to a monthly kit, I would highly recommend Purpose Driven Essentials! This would make a fantastic gift for the Bible Journaler in your life!

I found Hillary on Instagram and thought she was the sweetest thing! I love her heart for the Lord. Her monthly kits include a 12 day devotional, washi tape, tabs, prompts to help you get started and more. She has really expanded her content in her store, and now offers so much more. It has been a beautiful thing to watch how God has used her ministry to reach so many women new to Bible Journaling.

Lori has a shop in Washington that I would looooooove to visit! I drool over the pictures online! Her monthly kits are adorable and full of gorgeouselements you can use to journal in your Bible or even in your planner or scrapbook.

The Citrus Twist kits are another favorite of mine. There are a few different options, depending on your needs- you can get a scrapbook kit or a Grace Box kit to use in your Journaling Bible. She has multiple themes each month too, which is different than some other companies. You can also purchase individual elements or smaller kits with embellishments only. Another thing I love is the Citrus Twist stamps- so many affordable options if you are trying to grow your stamp collection!

I looooove Creative Retreat kits! Each month has a similar style, so you pretty much know what to expect month after month. I happen to love that. One of my favorite elements are the bow tabs that come each month. The price of these monthly kits are extremely reasonable and I have found I am able to use leftover elements even later on, in my Journaling Bible and even in my planner. I have also really appreciated the devotional content of these kits. You can see my latest unboxing video here. If you are new to Bible Journaling and want to stick to a small budget, Creative Retreat kits would be the kits I would recommend first.

These kits are a good option if you want to start journaling but might not be sure it is for you. Embellish It! Kits have a mix of different products each month and you can mix and match the elements in your journaling.

Mognolia Magenta has monthly Bible Journaling kits, stamps, Bibles and more. You can sign up for a 3 month subscription to save some money or just purchase an individual kit. She has monthly themes, but also stand alone themes that are great at any time of the year!

Bridgett Brainard is such a sweetheart! You will often see her work with Illustrated Faith and Purpose Driven Essentials. She also has her own shop and her own printable monthly Bible Journaling kits. I love these kits!

These are digital kits that are not exclusive to the Bible Journaling community, but that work wonderfully as a Bible Journaling kit. Her prices are extremely affordable and allows you to purchase multiple elements to mix and match.

Wild Hare kits are not exclusive to the Bible Journaling community, but work well with it! You fill out a style profile and then get to choose between two kits- a Petite Kit or the Deluxe Kit. I love that they give you the option each month. The smaller kit seems perfect for Bible Journaling each month and the larger kit would be great if you don’t want to order month after month. These kits are popular in the scrapbooking and card making world as well!

I hope this helped you! As you can see, there is a wide variety of Bible Journaling kits available each month. You are sure to find one, or more, that meets your needs! Use one for yourself, or give one as a gift!

This looks just like scrapbooking, which makes the daily devotional process more fun and enticing! I agree when you said that one must be intentional in understanding the scripture, and that intention, I believe, is something that God planted in us. He wants us to continue to pursue Him every day in all areas of our lives. This is really a creative way to practice that intention in our hearts. Thank you for these ideas! ?

Absolutely, intention is everything! All of these kits look so aesthetically pleasing, and I want to try some of them out for sure. One of these days, I’m going to find a Bible with large margins on the sides that leave me room to incorporate some of these gorgeous kits. I LUV the Christmassy ones; they’re getting me into the spirit already!! xx
