It took me a little while to find this community of bloggers, but once I did….it was like a whole new world opened up!
If you are a blogger – new or old – you should know about these amazing groups. There are these large Facebook groups for bloggers to connect, learn, encourage, inspire…it’s just amazing and exactly what I was looking for. Not only do the women in these groups help me learn and grow as a business owner, but they really are a source of support and community that is sometimes lacking when you are home all day. There are MANY groups and I encourage you to try a few and see which ones fit your needs. Not every group is for every personality and that is OK. You will know when you find the right group for you and where you are in your business. Here are some of my favorites:
BLOG + BIZ BFF’S
The Blog + Biz BFF community is easily one of my favorite groups. It is a place for bloggers and online entrepreneurs to lend support, give feedback, and share advice – led by the talented Melyssa Griffin at melyssagriffin.com. She is a wealth of information and SO generous and willing to help out fellow bloggers. It really is a group where women support one another and learn from one of the best. Melyssa teaches on all things related to blogging and social media. Her group has over 15K members and growing! Join this group here.
SAVVY BUSINESS OWNERS
This is a community full of cheerleaders, lead by the amazing Heather Crabtree. Heather is a business strategist for creative entrepreneurs, so this group reflects that. This Facebook Group has over 7k members and grows daily. This group is for anyone who wants to be a savvy business owner. If you want to be surrounded by a community of cheerleaders that you can lean on for support, knowledge, and overall good vibes – join this Facebook Group. Join this group here.
BLOGGING BOOST
Blogging Boost is an incredible place for new bloggers. This group is very active and the members share tips about the tricks and tools necessary for running a blog. It is a great place to ask questions and get a quick response, with over 15K members. Elizabeth Kelsey Bradley, author at Thriving Healer, is the leader behind this lovely group. Join this group here.
The SITS GIRLS
When The Secret is in the Sauce (aka The SITS Girls) was founded in 2008, its objective was simple: To create a space where bloggers could find their tribe and grow their audience. Although the site has evolved and grown to over 10K members over the years, its commitment to this mission has not changed. Whether you are new to blogging and looking for blogs to read, or a veteran blogger interested in learning everything you can about social media and making money from sponsored posts, The SITS Girls community is for you! Join this group here.
INSPIRED BLOGGERS NETWORK
Founded by Tabitha Philen (TabithaPhilen.com) in January 2012, the Inspired Blogger Network is a group of bloggers and social media experts dedicated to making the blogosphere a better place by lending friendship to one another and offering encouragement when needed. This is another group with over 10K members and I love it because it is a group that is truly dedicated to the education and encouragement of fellow bloggers. It is aptly named ‘Inspired.’ Join this group here.
I am confident that you will find your perfect community in one or more of these groups. I personally have been blessed by each one, in different ways. Like I said before…try them out and see which ones fits you and leave if they don’t. Having a blogging community makes ALL the difference in this crazy adventure!
Do you have any other blogging communities you love and recommend?

June 29, 2016 at 12:54 amI love being a part of groups like these, but I really wish more real engagement would come from then. I do not get many genuine followers, but even one matters!

June 29, 2016 at 1:54 amFacebook groups are SO beneficial, and I’ve gotten so much out of them! I did find that I had to be careful, though — I once joined way too many and became overwhelmed!

June 29, 2016 at 8:57 pmThat is a great point. Too much of anything can be problematic, even good things. I get to the point of information overload and know I need to take a step back. The good thing about these groups is that you can turn off your notifications.
