Hey, sweet friends! I am excited…want to know why?
Christmas came early…for ME! Yes, me. I am sure you all understand that, as moms, we tend to put ourselves last when it comes to the season of giving. Well, you also know that I am all about self care and personal growth, and about simplicity. So, how do you find that happy balance? Well, when my friends at JORD asked me to partner with them, I asked myself that same question. This is the season of giving (even though, yes, we try to think that way year round) and we have a large family, and then extended family and friends….you know how it is. So, immediately I thought, “I can’t do something for me, right now…I have so much to do for others!”
And that is exactly why I said yes.
This post was sponsored by JORD but, as always, all opinions are my own.
Ladies, I got spoiled! This watch is beautiful! I picked the this particular watch, because I thought that it would go well with most of my outfits. And it does! I can dress it up or down, wear it with bracelets or by itself – which means I can wear it everyday. As a mom of 6 young children, I can tell you that means a lot. I am all about simplicity in this season of life.
The thing I may love most about having a watch is that I can unplug! I am not tied to my phone. You know that I tell you all to unplug, take time away from social media, go back to basics…well, this is just one more way I am able to do that. Admittedly, it is going to take some time to get used to that. When my husband asked me what time it was yesterday, I immediately reached for my phone…and then realized I didn’t have to! It felt kind of freeing, honestly. Now if only I could get him one for that same “unplugging” reason 😉 They do have a whole line of men’s watches and I know he’s been eyeing a couple!
